Exercise 1

I am interested in the idea of Really Simple Syndication, and how it is changing the way people create and maintain personal connections. With a feed reader and a set of blogs, RSS becomes a proxy for relationships. You can know intimate details of people's lives — friends or otherwise — through RSS feeds of their blog posts, photographs, shared items, etc, without actually having to meet face to face.

For this project I collected public RSS feeds of people I know from a variety of sources. These are a collection of people I "keep in touch with," despite not having seen them in weeks, or even years.
